FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ONTRA PRESENTATIONS INKS FOX BROADCASTING CO.,
THE LATEST NETWORK TO MAKE THE SWITCH TO ONTRA PRESENTATION SOFTWARE
Fox Will Use Ontra Presentation Software When
Presenting to Major Advertisers During the Annual Network Upfronts
May 20, 2004 (New York, NY) - Ontra Presentations (www.ontrapresentations.com),
the multimedia software and services company at the forefront of
multimedia technologies, announced today the signing of the FOX
Broadcasting Company, a unit of Fox Entertainment Group, as a client.
The creator of such esteemed and popular television shows as American
Idol, 24, The Simpsons and Arrested Development, Fox Broadcasting
Company is the latest major television network in succession to
join Ontra. The deal will see FOX using Ontra Presentation software
as their presentation platform when presenting to major advertisers
during the 2004/2005 advertising Upfronts and beyond.
“In keeping with the FOX tradition of producing distinctive,
original entertainment, we were searching for a presentation solution
that would engage and entertain our audience while delivering the
facts of our story,” says Audrey Steele, Vice President Sales
Research & Marketing. “Ontra Presentation software allows
us to present our information a more dynamic and attention grabbing
way.”
The signing of the Fox Broadcasting Company is a significant step
for both companies for a number of reasons. With its suite of unique
features, Ontra Presentation software will give the FOX Broadcasting
Company’s presentations a customized look that can incorporate
multimedia elements of audio, video and rich graphics. The software
also comes complete with a network, or distributed, solution that
can manage any dispersed sales force, assuring a consistent and
updated presentation every time, no matter where the presentation
is being given. However, the technological advances are only part
of the equation. With its distinctive approach to presentations
and the mindset behind them, Ontra Presentations is ushering in
a new era for dynamic multimedia presentation technology.
“Presentations are evolving quickly,” says James Ontra,
CEO and co-founder of Ontra Presentations. “And, audiences
are tired of being forced-fed rigid PowerPoint presentations. They
are craving presentations that are more flexible, more engaging
and ultimately, more entertaining. Ontra is designed for that purpose.”
The Ontra Presentation software creates presentations that have
the ability to follow the human mind by presenting information in
an interactive sequence rather than a linear one. With Ontra, meetings
become fluid and interactive rather than rigid and stale.
“We understand that people don’t think in a pre-determined
format. Rather, the mind tends to wander,” says AlexAnndra
Ontra, President and co-founder of Ontra Presentations. “We
created Ontra to mimic that behavior for a business meeting, where
digressions and unforeseen questions inevitably arise.”
